Queen Sheba presents a massive hit song for the year – 2017 titled “Run” produced by Draf-X. The talented female artiste gives you the best of her best vocal and lyrical deliveries.
“Queen Sheba is a musician/ poet who attended her secondary education at Kabulonga girls high school were she first recorded a rap song Priorities written by Keith Mutale with T-BaK in an HIV campaign. During that time in 1998 she came out first in a hip hop competition called Dancemania. Later on, she worked with James Chamanyazi on another HIV campaign song Tekanya. After High School she joined Nasty D‘s Zambezi Symphony where she reconnected with Shimasta from Third World Crew, Desh, Black Jesu, Sam Kuli. Under Zambezi Symphony she recorded Zuba Langa and Iwe Naine a duet with Nasty D. Later a single Ba Ngwele with Kenny Sinyangwe.
Sheba stepped away from the music scene to work with Youth Alive Zambia as a facilitator and trainer which led her to go and further her education. In 2012 she graduated from the University Of Zambia. Her music is Influenced by Fugees – Lauryn Hill, Lady of Rage, Lost boys, Dr Dre, Busta Rhymes.”
